This was a fun project for IPC. Took 5 pairs of dollar store reading glasses and covered the lenses with Rub N Buff liquid gold, scratched off the holes and melted the earpieces. A few hours of work, and pretty inexpensive to execute.

Also not a sketchbook page, but I have been consumed by the lathe. Since I lost the sketchbook I had originally started for this blog, I will be getting a new one soon and I will resume posting a sketch a day, until then, cups it is.

Day 7

Foul mood. Today. Best I can do.

Mineral oil does beautiful things to wood.

Day 5 Clearly not a sketch, but my first goblet ever! Turned on the lathe. Green sycamore. Took me 2 and a half hours from start to finish.
